The\u00a0UAE Consulate is open in Milan<\/strong>\u00a0and is competent\u00a0for the following Italian Regions<\/strong>:\u00a0Valle d\u2019Aosta<\/strong>,\u00a0Piemonte<\/strong>,\u00a0Liguria<\/strong>,\u00a0Lombardia<\/strong>,\u00a0Veneto<\/strong>,\u00a0Trentino<\/strong>\u00a0Alto<\/strong>\u00a0Adige<\/strong>,\u00a0Friuli<\/strong>\u00a0Venezia<\/strong>\u00a0Giulia<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Emilia<\/strong>\u00a0Romgna<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Please note\u00a0that for the representations of the United Arab Emirates in Italy, territorial jurisdiction is not inflexible and the representations of Rome and Milan could also accept documents outside their specific competence. Any operational indications therefore vary over time.<\/p>\n

All the documents to be legalised by the\u00a0UAE Embassy<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0must be first attested by the competent Italian authorities: depending on the type of document, a\u00a0prior legalisation<\/strong>\u00a0by the Prefecture Office, or by the Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office or by the Chamber of Commerce is required.<\/p>\n

Certificates of origin and invoices<\/strong>\u00a0must be \u00a0first legalized\u00a0only by the Italian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong>\u00a0before being legalized by the UAE Consulate; prior attestation by \u00a0the\u00a0Italian Arab Chamber of Commerce is NO MORE REQUIRED<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In order to legalize documents, the Consulate requires the payments of taxes which vary according to the type of document to be legalized.<\/p>\n
